Holly Clark is a Law Student at James Cook University and a future lawyer in the making. Joining Cohen Legal in 2025, she is often one of the first people clients meet – and one of the next generation of legal professionals developing her skills inside the firm.

Currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Laws, Holly has long been drawn to the legal profession. What began as a quiet interest has grown into genuine conviction. She thrives on research, enjoys unpacking complex legal concepts, and is fascinated by the breadth of opportunity within the law.

Working in a busy regional law firm while studying gives Holly something invaluable: perspective. She doesn’t just learn the theory – she sees how it plays out. From commercial matters to conveyancing, wills & estates and civil disputes, she is building a practical understanding of how law operates in the real world. 

At Cohen Legal, Holly supports client services, file preparation, and administrative coordination. Reliable and proactive, she brings both professionalism and warmth to the front of house. She values being surrounded by strong mentors and describes the firm’s culture as supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented.

A proud Townsville local, Holly returned home after a period interstate, confident that North Queensland is where she wants to establish her career. She is excited by the path ahead and committed to developing into a capable, commercially aware legal practitioner.

Outside of work and study, Holly enjoys keeping active, walking along The Strand, spending time with friends and family, and reading. At home, she shares her space with two much-loved rescue cats — who, she assures us, run the household.
